RESCUE

The Scottish Terrier has been a recognizable breed sincethe late 1800’s, thriving in the rough and rugged terrain of the Scottish Highlands. Given his origins, the Diehard is known as a tough, generally healthy dog, protected from the elements by a thick double coat, and from illness by an overall strong, disease-resistant constitution. This Code of Ethics is established to set a standard of acceptable behavioral limits for the Scottish Terrier Club of America members. The Code is designed to protect the interests of the club and to protect and preserve the Scottish Terrier. The Scottish Terrier Club of America expects adherence to the code.
