First offered in 1997, the award is given in memory of the dog whose name it bears, to the owner(s) of the Scottish Terrier winning the most Specialty Best of Breed wins during the award year, but not necessarily with the same dog or bitch.  Scottish Terriers must be handled by an owner; professional handlers are ineligible for this award.  Scottish Terriers with identical ownership only will be tallied together.
