STCA One-On-One Mentor Program
This program is intended to help those STCA members, want-to-be members or non-STCA members that maybe be new to the breed or feel they have no one to turn to for help in participating in breeding, showing or other activities in our breed. We envision an experience that would be reminiscent of the days of sitting around the kitchen table with our mentors as was for many of us. All mentors are members in good standing with the STCA. Each experience will be unique to the people involved. We will try to match you up with someone who is able and willing to assist with the particular need requested.

The STCA encourages and promotes the quality breeding of purebred Scottish Terriers and will do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection. Members and breeders are encouraged to accept the Standard of the Breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Scottish Terriers will be judged and will do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the Breed. We also encourage good sportsmanship by our members in all events.*
