STCA National 2020/MCKC

To STCA members and friends:

The long wait for a decision to hold STCA’s annual events during Montgomery week is over. The STCA board voted this evening to cancel conformation, hospitality, and in-person annual meeting events scheduled for October 2020.

This difficult decision was made in the best interest of our membership, attendees, volunteers, and competitors’ well-being and safety. State and regional mandates along with the host hotel’s onerous guidelines are difficult and expensive to manage.

With the cancellation of Montgomery All Terrier Agility Trials, Hatboro Dog Club, Montgomery County Kennel Club, and Devon Dog Show Association events, it is abundantly clear that STCA’s traditional Montgomery week will not be what we planned for you.  Montgomery week is an annual celebration. Camaraderie, competition, and traditions bring us together. Unfortunately, there are conditions totally beyond our control.

For club members, a separate announcement will follow on the presentation of STCA Annual Awards and Health Trust Fund initiatives.

Thank you all for your patience. Your support is appreciated. Stay healthy, and Scottie strong!
