• If selected as a STCA Ringside Mentor I agree to follow the criteria specified by the STCA and the American Kennel Club. “All mentoring requires confidentiality between mentor and observer”. • Mentors must be objective at all times and adhere to the Official STCA Standard. • No mentor should promote his or her own dogs or lines. I have read the AKC Ringside Observation Criteria and am familiar with the Ringside Observation Form. As a STCA Mentor I agree that I will sign the official AKC Ringside Observation form only after it has been completed by the observer and I will honestly reply to the question regarding the observer’s understanding of our breed. One time discussion of the breed should be indicated as “tutoring” NOT “mentoring” which is long term.
